What does it mean to be a Head Student?

Head students are the pinnacle of leadership, character and community. We make sure to select students who will encourage others to thrive, and who will be a positive role model to their peers. As Head Student, you will have a seat at the table, acting as the representative of the student experience here at Ryburn. You do not need to have been an Ambassador to apply, but you will be asked for examples of how you have contributed positively to the school community, whether that’s in extra-curricular clubs or student council. You may be a part of groups after school where you have learned leadership or team building skills, like Scouts or in Sports teams. We want to hear from you!

If you have any questions, see Ms Bozzo. If you have any trouble submitting your form here, you can email your answers to Mr Kay.

How will students be selected?

For all roles, students are invited to apply via the form above. Applications received after the deadline cannot be accepted. Shortlisted students will be invited to an interview. Students will be chosen based on their interview and feedback from their teachers and Head of Year.
