It’s almost time for you to join the Ryburn family. You’ll find lots to help as you prepare for a smooth start at high school. You will meet your new form tutor, take a tour of the school, learn more about your summer iGen reading book and lots more during our Transition Day. Our website has a wealth of information all year round, so you can take your time exploring and refer back to it if you need to.

Starting AT RYBURN WILL BE A VERY EXCITING aND IMPORTANT TIME FOR YOU and WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE FULLY EQUIPPED TO START YOUR JOURNEY.

Hi I'm Miss Barber, Assistant Headteacher and I am responsible for making your transition to Year 7 a smooth and happy one. On behalf of the staff and students at Ryburn, I would like to wish you a warm welcome and say how delighted we are that you have been awarded a place at our fantastic school.  

In the upcoming months I will be visiting your school, and will have the pleasure of meeting you all in person.  I'm sure you will have lots of questions, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask them when we visit.

We will keep adding useful information to this page to ensure this whole experience is a truly positive one. So keep on checking back.
