National Online Safety - An Introduction to the App

the latest information and updates to help you keep your child safe online.

Since we’ve started sharing information from National Online Safety, we wanted to make Parents and carers aware that along with a free membership, there is also an app you can download to your smart devices from any app store by searching for ‘National Online Safety.’

Here you can find all of the useful guides that they publish and filter by category. The app also includes courses hosted by Myleene Klass around online safety targeted to specific age groups.

We’ve put together some images below with some information around using the app.

  1. Homepage: Here you can see everything you’ve recently viewed and some of the latest updates.

  2. Search: This shows content relevant to you and you can filter what you are looking for by type and category.

  3. In ’Select Type’ You can look for the guides, find courses by Myleene Klass and free webinars on a range of subjects

  4. The Myleene Klass courses feature introductions to online safety for parents with children of a variety or ages. There is no blanket guide to online safety, so it’s great that National Online Safety break up the content and target it for specific age groups.
