Following the increasing rates of Covid-19 both nationally and locally, the Department for Education and Calderdale Public Health have updated their guidance for schools. This message explains the key information you need to know.
End of term and January Arrangements
The Department for Education has asked all schools to offer one Lateral Flow Test (LFT) to students in Years 7 and above prior to their return. Students are then encouraged to continue with the twice weekly LFT programme at home (we recommend tests are to be taken on Sunday and Wednesday evenings). As a result, there will be a staggered start to students returning to school.

Final week arrangements
Due to the current high rates of infection in young people in the local community, and the very high numbers of bubble closures in school, we are offering all parents and carers the choice of either remote learning or in school learning for their child for the last week of summer term. A response is required from parents who wish for their child to follow home learning.
